2,000 acre lease, with a 395 acre permit that includes thirteen seams of coal, three of which are permitted. The first seam is the Hance Seam which is currently operating as a surface mine and two deep mine permits in the metallurgical seams known as the Kellioakae and Darby Seams. We are currently producing about 12,000 tons per month in the Hance Seam. This permit area contains approximately 9,800,000 tons of high grade specialty, metallurgical coal.

Our Highway 92 Project features the Upper and Lower Rooster Seams as well as the Dean Seam of coal. This project will include contour mining, augering and high-wall mining as the bench advances. Our contract miner, Roco Enterprises, will initially produce approximately 15,000 tons of clean coal monthly with the capacity to produce in excess of 30,000 tons per month on the existing permits.

The Artemus Project - Knox County, Kentucky

Approximately 13,000 acre lease, with estimated reserves of 40,000,000 tons of the Kentucky Blue Gem, Jellico and Lily seams of coal. There are two surface permits and two deep mine permits on this project.

The Sulphur Creek Project - Cumberland County, Kentucky
Approximately 1,700 acres with one recently completed producing well (approximately 30 barrels per day), four additional existing wells to rework and sites for an additional 95 wells planned over the next 36-48 months. Current well is producing in the Murfeesboro. Additional existing wells will be deepened to the Murfeesboro, but are currently producing in the Granville.
